Lindsey & Cory had to change their wedding plans multiple times due to the Covid restrictions changing so rapidly. They were originally supposed to have their wedding at a venue, then changed it to their cottage, and lastly, they ended up having it in their backyard. They had the most beautiful setup in their backyard that they designed completely on their own. They had to cut down their guest list unfortunately, but were thankful to still be able to celebrate with close family & friends.
We started by doing getting ready photos in their home, followed by their ‘first look’ and formal intimate ceremony. After their full ceremony, they had their first dance right after with all of their family & friends standing around the yard watching. They enjoyed cocktail hour after & we caught the most amazing sunset at the field a short drive down the road.
It has been such an honour to photograph these intimate moments, especially during these unpredictable times. While the majority of my booked weddings for 2020 got moved to 2021, I’m still so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the sweetest couples.
A note from the bride, Lindsey:
“Oh Laura I can’t even handle how much I love these pictures. I first skimmed through them to see everything that was there and then I’ve gone back multiple times taking in each one. I already have some big frames for behind my couch and don’t know how I’m going to decide which ones to put in them!! AH they are so amazing, I love all the little moments that were captured of things I wasn’t around for, oh my god my neighbour on the lawn mower SO glad there was a shot of that, and my dad dragging me away from the caterer. SOOO many amazing shots. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I am going to be looking through them for days and getting some printed ASAP. I am going to lose so much time looking at these over and over!”
