While growing up in the countryside as the youngest of six kids, I spent most of my time outdoors – forming some of my most cherished memories. From getting lost in the woods with my sisters, to biking for hours, swimming at the local lake in the summer, to many ski trips in the winter – these are the things that became the foundation for who I am & what I value in life. I value freedom, time spent with loved ones, and being active / exploring outdoors (when its not freezing lol).
Family and friends are the biggest part of my life and I would go to the ends of the Earth for any one of them.
Laughing might just be my favourite thing. I am more than willing to drop a horrendous Dad joke or pun so be prepared for that.
I strive to be my best self each and every day and to serve others through laughter, kindness, and love. I encourage others to just be themselves!
I’ve always wanted to have my own business. I remember being really young (maybe 10) & knowing I was going to have my own business of some sort (kind of inevitable when both of your parents are entrepreneurs I guess). I had always loved taking photos of family and friends & got my first DSLR camera for my 16th birthday.
After high school, I didn’t think it was smart or realistic to pursue photography, so I went to University to pursue Psychology with no real end goal figured out yet.
I decided to drop out and went to Algonquin College for their 2 year Photography Program. I second shot & learned from other photographers that I admired in the Photography industry, Youtube’d a ton about starting a business, and worked other jobs while I grew my business on the side.
I decided to go full time in 2019 and haven’t looked back since. I truly love what I do & I can't wait to hear all about your story!
